If you had a friend that you knew had a problem (health, finances, spirituality, etc.) and you also had a key in your pocket to a door that you knew had exactly what they needed behind it, would you tell them?
Or would you keep the key in your pocket and watch them continue to suffer because you were afraid to hand it to them?
Maybe fear of approaching them about it stopped you.
Maybe it was fear of what they were going to say.
Maybe you were afraid it wouldn’t really work for them.
Maybe you want to keep it for yourself.
Maybe you thought they might reject it and, in doing so, reject you.
But there is no doubt that behind that door is a glorious garden with exactly what they need growing in it….
Think about this:
What if you don’t give it to them and time goes by and they find out? What if they say, “why didn’t you tell me!?! You had the solution to my problem all along and you didn’t tell me!?!” What kind of friend would you be then?
How would you feel if someone did that to you?
A lot of us are choosing to keep the key in our pockets even though deep inside we know their world and life could be radically changed if we would just hand it over.
We have that key.
We all have that choice to make.
What are we doing with it today?
