I love tea. I especially love loose leaf tea. Once upon a time, I was a regular customer of Teavana back when they had stores and weren’t owned by Starbuck’s. Now that they are and have shut down stores and I can no longer get my favorites, I have had to go on the search for something to replace it.
It has been a long search because not too much has been able to come remotely close to some of the teas I used to drink all nice and hot with some creamer mixed in. Sigh…I thought those days of enjoying a tea hug in a mug were over. Until I found the Sips by box.
I have been pleasantly pleased with the past two month’s boxes. April was full of amazing teas, and my May box had nothing remotely similar in flavor to April’s box which was awesome.
But now I have a big problem.
I’m addicted to one of the teas from the May box. I know, I know. You are thinking, “You’ve Got to Be Kitten Me!?!” Yes, I did that on purpose. One of the best teas I have ever tasted was made by Tea Kitten and is called Tart-Tea To The Par-Tea! It is similar to fruit punch but better. It is great warm or cold. I literally smiled inside and out when I first tasted it because of how absolutely wonderful it is!! It is also a caffeine-free tea. You have gato try it!
I also had The Early Bird from Tea Hee Hee, Hot Cinnamon Spice by Harney & Sons, and Black Gunpowder by Made Of Tea. Those 3 were all marked high caffeine. I was a little hesitant to try the Hot Cinnamon Spice at first. I am not going to lie about that at all! But it turned out to be really good. It tasted a bit like a red hot candy, but it wasn’t overpowering. They provided a quick pick-me-up when I needed it and were just all around delicious.
I am definitely not disappointed in this box at all!
If you haven’t tried the Sips by subscription box, you should definitely look into it! $15 for 4 teas that make at least 4 cups each is a steal! If you or someone you know loves tea, this would make a great gift for you or your friend!
Happy sipping!
