I am a busy wife and mom, as well as work as a college instructor 3 days a week, am a blogger, and have so many other hats that I have a hard time keeping up with it all. We have had a lot of extra going on in our lives too that was not planned. Though I love to cook, I often find myself too busy or too tired to figure out meals or just plain don’t want to because of everything that has gone on that day or week. Because of that, I have been trying to find ways to make my life a little bit easier while still giving my family good, home cooked meals. I have tried multiple meal delivery kits, and most were okay, but I found one that stands out above the rest.

EveryPlate has been amazing for me and my family. It has been more than enough food for our family, and often leaves me with leftovers for lunch the next day. There are 5 of us total, but only 3 of us live in this house.
I love the fresh ingredients. I love the beautiful vegetables that are sent in every box, the flavor, the quality of the meat. The recipes are fantastic. We haven’t tried on yet that we didn’t like, and, as you can see, the youngest member of the family also enjoys it when our box of goodies arrives at our door.
First thing I always do is unbox everything. I take time to check my ingredients out, look at the recipe cards, see what needs to be refrigerated, sort, and store. Then I decide which recipe we are having for dinner that night. I breathe in deeply and exhale. There’s just something about the box arriving that takes a weight off my shoulders.
After I’ve decided which meal we are going to have, we prep it. Most of the recipes take 30 minutes from prep to finish with a select few taking 45. I am completely okay with this because the thinking and grocery shopping has been taken out of it which gives me so much more time with my family. In fact, sometimes they actually help me cook with EveryPlate.
I know. Some of you may be reading this thinking, “couldn’t they already help you cook?” Yes, they could, but for some reason they just aren’t interested until this box of yummy ingredients arrives. But, hey, I will take it.
I can tell you that those meatballs were some of the best meatballs I have ever had in my life. I hardly ever eat meatballs because most of the time I don’t like them, but these were absolutely delicious!!
